DFW Customers Save $8.8 Million in First Year of Pre-Paid Parking
One year after launching a new Prepaid Parking system that allows customers to book their parking online at discounted rates, 114,000 customers have saved a total of more than $8.8 million. In addition to promotional sales, the new pricing tool allows customers to take advantage of offers that save them as much as 50% off of Terminal, Express, and Remote parking.
The system allows customers to book their parking in advance of arrival at the airport and secure deep discounts on normal rates. Customers pay with a credit card and can access the parking control plazas with their Toll Tag or a print-out QR code. The DFW mobile app also makes it easy for customers to prepay for their parking.
The peak day for booking was November 14 and saved customers more than $1.1 million on the drive-up rate for Terminal Parking. More than 12,000 customers took advantage of the one-day sale.
According to a recent survey conducted, 93% of customers were satisfied with the service and said they would recommend to others.
To celebrate the one-year anniversary of Prepaid Parking and to say thank you to customers, DFW is providing even more savings by offering a special promotion code for an additional 20% off of parking for travel through May 31. The code will be offered to DFW customers who have used the system over the previous year.
