DFW International Airport Continues Normal Operations Under Level Orange Mandates As Action Begins In Iraq_20191112103639955
DFW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Texas (March 20, 2003) – Since Level Orange measures went into effect on Tuesday, no problems or issues have been reported at DFW Airport. DFW will closely monitor the situation and will keep you informed of any changes at the Airport.
DFW Airport Parking remains open except for the upper-level, one-hour spaces. DFW encourages you to continue parking at your regular parking venue.
Vehicles arriving at DFW’s entry plazas may be briefly stopped for visual inspection and random search. In addition, we have increased surveillance and security near the terminal area to ensure traveler’s safety. These new security measures will be in place while the U.S. Homeland security level is categorized as “orange.” Slight delays may occur during this time, so please plan to arrive at the Airport early for your flight.
Passengers are urged to report any suspicious activity to the nearest DPS officer, or call 911. The eyes and ears of our travelers are very valuable assets to the Airport 's security efforts.
Meanwhile DFW will continue to make your travels safe, keep security high and your travel hassles low.
All of us at DFW hope for a quick resolution to the conflict and are mindful of the safety of our men and women in uniform.
