DFW International Airport Gives Summer Parkers “Summer Rewards”

Weekly deals at DFW shops and restaurants begin June 4; Free coffee, food before flight for on-airport parkers

DFW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (June 2, 2006) – Just in time for the hot summer travel season, DFW International Airport is offering “Summer Rewards” for its best “onairport” parking customers in the form of incentive coupons and tasty deals for food and beverages inside the terminals. Throughout the summer months, the Airport will distribute coupons at the entry plazas good for free food and beverages with specific purchases.

DFW Airport Parking has also created an advertising campaign around the “Summer Rewards” program with the tag line, “Park Close. Get Stuff.”

“It’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ to the thousands of loyal customers who park at the Airport,” said Ken Buchanan, executive vice president of revenue management at DFW. “We know our customers want the most convenient and best value parking available, and we would like to add a little value to their parking choice. We are expecting a very busy summer travel season and we offer the closest parking and the best deals inside the terminals to make it all go easier.”

The DFW Airport Parking “Summer Rewards” coupon offers will begin on Sunday, June 4 and will rotate various offers through September 5. The specific coupon offers are good for two weeks (except where noted), and they are as follows:

Offer #1: June 4 – 17 HMS Host providing Starbucks coffee – Buy one pastry and receive a free cup of Starbucks coffee

Offer #2: June 18 – July 1 TGI Friday’s - Buy one entrée and receive a free appetizer

Offer #3: July 2 – 15 McDonald’s – Buy a premium cup of coffee and receive a free pie

Offer #4: July 16 – 29 Au Bon Pain – Buy one sandwich, salad or wrap and receive your choice of a bag of chips or a fresh-baked cookie

Offer #5: July 30 – August 12 Harlon's/Dickey's BBQ – Buy a one meat or mixed meat plate or sandwich plate and receive a free 16 oz drink

Offer #6: August 13 – 26 Auntie Anne's Pretzels – Buy one pretzel, get one pretzel free

Offer #7: August 27 – September 5 (NOTE: this offer is for one week) Star Concessions providing Seattle’s Best Coffee – Buy one pastry and receive a free cup of 8 oz. drip coffee
