DFW International Airport to Implement Temporary Roadway Change at Terminal A

Effective March 16, automobile traffic headed to Terminal A at Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport will be rerouted onto a temporary bypass road in order to access that terminal. The change is necessary to begin construction of the new roadway system in Terminal A that is part of the new enhanced parking structure.
Instead of using the existing flyover bridge, Terminal A passengers will be directed to use the bypass road to access the terminal.
DFW Airport is advising passengers to leave early and allocate a few extra minutes of driving time in order to avoid any potential issues.
The roadway transition is expected to be in place until late 2012, when phase one of the new Terminal A parking structure and the enhanced section of Terminal A are opened to the public.
