Schedule Details for Holiday Helper Porter Assistance at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport During Thanksgiving Travel Season
Porters assisting families with baggage as part of “Cheer Starts Here!” holiday campaign
As part of the “Cheer Starts Here!” holiday campaign at Dallas / Fort Worth International Airport, holiday helpers have been deployed to assist customers with their luggage on some of the busiest days of the Thanksgiving travel period.
Porters dressed in white “Cheer Starts Here!” shirts will be available in the parking garages at Terminals A, C and E during the following days and times during the Thanksgiving season:
• Monday, November 24th: 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, November 25th: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
• Sunday, November 30th: 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The DFW “Cheer Starts Here!” campaign for holiday travelers runs through the end of the year and also includes giant walk-in snow globes deployed in each of the Airport’s five terminals to serve as settings for family photos. The Airport will also distribute complimentary coffee vouchers to DFW Airport Valet parking customers and DART Orange Line passengers.
New this year, customers will discover freshly unveiled phases of DFW’s terminal renovations, including 44 newly refurbished gates in Terminal A (Gates A19-A23), Terminal B (Gates B24-B49) and Terminal E (Gates E17-E38). These areas include new concessions, renewed and enhanced infrastructure and facilities, modernized terminals, state-of-the-art parking garages, new self-service technologies, renovated interior spaces, expanded security checkpoints, and more efficient, reconfigured ticket counters, all of which are part of the Airport’s Terminal Renewal and Improvement Project (TRIP).
