Passengers traveling to and from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport during the 2013 holiday season will be treated to free shipping and free gift wrapping on gifts purchased at specialty shops and retailers at DFW Airport.

Busy airport travelers can simply visit a participating concessionaire and purchase a gift for themselves, family or friends (valued at $50, $75, 100 depending on the concessionaire), and the Airport will ship them for free, going through December 24.

In addition, free gift-wrapping will be offered for passengers inside Terminal D on purchases valued at $50 or more. The free gift-wrapping kiosk will be located near the gate D24 area and will be open between 1-5 p.m. seven days a week, also going through December 24. 

“We invite all holiday passengers to ‘shop, ship and wrap’ the unique offerings available at DFW that feature everything from electronic gadgets and children’s toys to fine jewelry and the latest fashions,” said Ken Buchanan, executive vice president of revenue management DFW Airport. “Our mission is to provide airport guests with a world-class level of customer service, and offering our passengers with free shipping and free gift wrapping is another benefit they will receive by choosing to travel through DFW Airport.”
